Woodmont Montessori LLC is an in home classroom serving children from the ages of two and a half to six year old in the heart of Bon Air, VA. Our cozy environment offers the children a home-like feel where they can feel safe to explore and grow to their full potential. Our small child to adult ratio gives your child more instructional and one-on-one time with the adult. Our dynamic partnership with care-giver, parent and child supports the child to flourish into a fulfilled and productive person.
Through daily observations, we support your child’s education by integrating their interests with concrete academic material. The individualized approach allows for your child’s education to be self-paced, hands-on and gratifying! We believe in a bespoke education where life long skills are fostered.
Learning to be intrinsically versus extrinsically motivated, how to self-regulate by self-correcting feedback in the environment, gaining self-confidence, empathy and learning conflict resolution are important life long skills that can be acquired from the beginning.
